I'm an adult, I live with my parents, and I don't actually want to move out. If I won a million dollars I'd buy a house for all three of us; if I won fifty million dollars I'd *build* a house for all three of us. I don't want to live alone, I don't want to find a flatmate when I find most people deeply irritating, I sure as hell don't want to find a romantic partner and move in with them - I just want to keep living much as I am.

Pretty sure they'd like me to move out, though :/

I'm kind of the opposite. I want to move out so bad and have a little place of my own, but I'm not in a position to do so right now. My parents don't want me to move out though. In our culture, you only move out when you get married and if you don't get married, you just live with your parents forever. Sometimes you continue living with them after getting married because it's common for grandparents to care for the grandchildren while the married couple works.

But even though I want to move out, I don't want to leave them all alone. If money wasn't an issue, I'd buy some land, build a nice house for my parents, and then build a small house for myself on the same property. That way I could have my own place and still take care of my parents.

I had to move out recently because I needed to get out my city to work on my career. But I really liked living with my parents. I love them and I liked living in a house with a yard. If my city wasn't abysmal for work opportunities, than I would stay there.
