(Anonymous) 2020-08-26 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)I was taken along to protests when I was young enough to ride on my parents' shoulders and I don't belong to any of the above groups. Do you have advice that doesn't parrot the average Trump supporter (just leave!) for what those of us who agree the US does and has done more harm than good can realistically do to help, or do you just want to ride your high horse?
Acting like because the US propaganda machine is loud and obnoxious and the Americans who believe and amplify it even more so, every US citizen deserves their current situation, is close to victim blaming.
Also good job delighting in the suffering of the vulnerable who are and will be most hurt by the current administration or, god forbid, four more years of it.
Pointing and laughing at people dying from preventable diseases for lack of health care, or in ill-managed natural disasters, or in protests by people who know firsthand how much the US sucks, makes you sound like that infamous Trump supporter who complained that "he isn't hurting who he's meant to be hurting." Thanks for proving that you'd make a great member of the Trump administration. Enjoy your schadenfreude.
