I don’t understand why this is controversial. I know it IS, but I’ll never get WHY. Can’t people like different foods? Nobody fights about what other people put on their hot dogs or ice cream sundaes. Why is pineapple pizza somehow this huge deal?

Internet made too big of a deal of it between 2010 and 2015

If you're old enough to remember the 80's, people were acting like this about anchovies back then. Then everyone forgot about it.

I don't know why people are such huge crybabies over pizza toppings. But for some reason, pizza is serious business to a bunch of overgrown babies.

I like that there are different types of pizza. Sure, I'll usually get something thin crust, like NY style, but I like having the option to go a little thicker, or have a different sauce/cheese combo.

I especially enjoy people in imgur making homemade pizza and showing everybody the work and methods used, regardless of what it is. Brick oven pizza? Yeah! Skillet pizza? Sure! Crusts with Italian herbs baked in? Yes, please! Obviously, I won't get to eat it but maybe one of those ideas will stick when I decide to make my own next time.

I don't get this at all. Who the fuck cares what anyone else puts on pizza? Or what someone else eats in general? As long as they don't try to force me to eat it, too, I give zero fucks whether someone else eats something I find gross, it doesn't affect me at all. People really need to get a hobby or something instead of worrying about dumb shit like this.

Wow. I feel like ketchup's like the most common hot dog topping there is, getting upset about that is just ridiculous.

Exactly. When you're sharing a pizza, it's understandable to not wanting a topping you dislike.

What I don't get is completely randomly going on rants because other people like things you don't when it doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever. THAT makes zero logical sense.

I like most types of pizza, very much including the types that have pineapple. I wouldn't order pineapple on a pizza that didn't come with it, but I also wouldn't order no pineapple on a pizza that came with it.
