The entire Canto Bight/casino plot in The Last Jedi should've been used in another story and felt very "video game challenge" to me (especially the videoconferencing with Maz, lol). I love Finn and Rose tho, I just wish they'd been given something a bit more relevant to do.

In an episode of The Big Bang Theory, there was this B plot where Bernadette is voted hottest scientist or something like that. Amy thinks that’s kinda offensive because they’re only nominating female scientists and not male ones. Bernadette says something along the lines that Amy’s just jealous because she’s not hot enough to be nominated. I don’t think it got an adequate resolution and it was just pretty gross overall.

The Sand Snakes were just...awful on Game of Thrones. So was Arya's training because it amounted to nothing. And Bran's. And that whole Bronn going to kill Jaime.

Every single 'i'm pregnant and there is angst' b-plot of every single tv show and movie out there.

Also - every bit of b-plot that Abbey Lockhart was involved in on ER because holy FUCK was she annoying and boring.

Also, pretty much every bit of the Doug Ross b-plot stuff. I just want to watch Kerry and Carter, thank you, with a side of Mark Greene and Susan Lewis being cute. (I do like Elizabeth, though.)

I am not on call so I am not even glancing at my work email. Going to work on my Apex Legends battle pass and might try to make homemade buttermilk biscuits.

Been working all week from home on call, and just told we've picked up a new job so we'll be in the office for the weekend/bank holiday monday.

I'm gonna go for a walk with a friend today and honestly I'm dreading it a little because she walks so! very! very! slowly!
But she wants to exercise more, and I want to exercise more, so we're doing this. :/
I'll just have to try to stay patient.

Lots of sleep. Hot baths and heating pads. I have an allergist appointment tomorrow morning, and other than that going to take it easy.

Want to watch something with some sexy eye candy, so probably going to go with Snow White and the Huntsman and Huntsman: Winter War. Hemsworth and Theron for the win.

And spending lots of time with Joanna because she's missed out on having me here during the day this week.

Hopefully I will finally work up the nerve to submit that damn VA audition I'd been meaning to submit all month. It's not my first attempt ever but it has been a while, and is my first on the actual site. Though honestly, I suspect the person running it may already have the person they want in mind for the role. But hopefully, I might be remembered for a future role assuming this isn't the last production the person in charge is holding. And I guess whether or not it is, it's not stopping me from checking out other projects.

Reading and hopefully writing if I can find some inspiration! I also have some work stuff to catch up on, and I'm going to make alfredo tortellini and garlic bread for dinner tomorrow. And I just got a bundt pan recently so I want to make some sort of cake or something to try it out.

I'm supposed to meet up with my aunt for a masked, socially distanced walk on Sunday and I have laundry and dishes and grocery shopping to do, but as soon as I feed my critters tonight I'm going to crash, and I hope my brain lets me sleep in tomorrow. It's been a long week.

Lol. I think I may come off as older/my age sometimes, then other times, I find I still write online similarly to the way I did back when I was but a 13 to 16 year old youth. I kind of cringe when I think about it, but hey, it was a place and time in my life, what can I do?

Fandom Friends IRL

Have you ever met any fandom friends in real life? What was it like?

I started going through an abandoned forum I used to frequent (I can only imagine a ghost town, with brambles in the wind, as even the spammers/spambots no longer frequent it, as they used to, while the poor forum was but weakly dying and they feasted upon it like carrion). I realized there were about two or three individuals I felt like I was really cool with, and it bummed me out to realize I was never going to hear from them again (mind you, I last posted there around 2009? 2012 AT LATEST). I wouldn't have a point of contact if I traveled to their countries! Oh, fandom friends. I always wondered what it would be like to meet them IRL.

So what was it like for you? Dreams come true or a total nightmare? Or something far more mundane?
