Maybe I’m wrong but I swear that not too long ago it was pretty common for Hollywood movies to get released in a non-US country first because that’s just how the schedule worked out re: other movies’ release schedules, different holidays, etc. I suppose the internet making piracy and spoilers easier made that less of a good strategy, but it also seems to have spoiled people to the point that they go crazypants when it doesn’t work out that way and I am tired of the whining.
I never had any interest in seeing Tenet and I do not care if it’s in theaters around here (I haven’t even checked) or if I get spoiled because other people saw it before me.
I do want to see Wonder Woman 1984 in a theater, but I figure there’s a decent chance of that happening and, in any case, I don’t care if people elsewhere got to see it first.
