Favorite film of all time

What's your favorite film of all?

Point Break. Phenomenal action film. Beautifully shot and the cast is full of actors that I love. Really strong, well-developed emotional core. And it has a lot of weird, goofy and otherwise dumb stuff which I love.

And directed by a woman so there aren't lingering views of butts and chests.

I also love that movie. I remember seeing the trailer with my boyfriend and our roommate and the roomie and I were bouncing up and down in our seats, "WE HAVE TO SEE THAT MOVIE."

The Lion King. Doesn't matter my mood, I can watch it. I've seen it soooo many times.

+1

The Mummy.

I know. It's not my serious answer to what is the best film of all time, but it's my favourite to watch. Runners up are The Mask of Zorro and the first Pirates of the Caribbean. A good mix of action, comedy, and romance.

You could much, much worse that The Mummy. That is an A+++ film all around.

The Godfather

Yes, I know, ~so edgy~ but it's the most perfect modern tragedy of the past half-century IMO. A character getting sucked into a downward spiral of everything he's fought to avoid and, in the process, becoming the worst possible incarnation of that thing.

Right now.

Sing.

It could have been extremely catty and bitchy with all the contestants really going at it like reality TV. Instead it was this heart warming, let's work together and build each other up thing where the main character actually learned something. So yeah. Current favorite.

A Knight's Tale

And I say that as a firm Star Wars fan. I've watched those films over and over. But sometimes I'm just not in the mood.

But A Knight's Tale is the only movie I will watch no matter what.

Kamikaze Girls.

I'm not even into lolita fashion, I just absolutely love the friendship of the two main girls in the movie.

It is between Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King. I honestly couldn't pick between. On the one hand I always love a good ending. On the other hand, the opening of Fellowship is nearly perfect.
