I actually did ship Ichigo and Orihime... but not the way it happened in canon. I ship the version that exists in my head where they actually communicate with each other and get comfortable being together outside 'fighting for their lives' type situations.

I was actually hoping the series ended with Ichigo alone and Orihime with someone that was crazy about her. I felt like she deserved that, and none of the materials delivered. So disappointing.
