Nah, you're not alone, OP. I think the only fandom that didn't disappoint me (no goggles necessary) was Starsky and Hutch. There's just a shitton of physical contact in that show. Every other show I've been pimped into I had to "read between the lines" for my slash. Which is fine, but not what was advertised. (Not speaking of canonical gay relationships.)
