When I went to Pride the first time (I saw it twice in cinemas and infinite times on DVD), a man in the row behind me kept singing along, very quietly, with all the union songs. There was also a delightful amount of cheering and booing at various points, like any time Thatcher was mentioned there would be a grumbling muttering throughout the audience.
And this in Australia!

That's so awesome.

People are always so silent in the movies now. I remember as a kid, when the movie was over, everybody would clap. And people would yell out or laugh or whatever.....
