Oh my. Yeah. I could understand that. There were two actors that were being fancasted and I was reading fic at the time using that fancast for the characters. I had the chance to meet the people in question and I had to take a step back and stop reading the fix because it was...too close? Too close to reality/broke the 4th wall/whatever wall separates people, actors, and the characters they play?

Like it's one thing when the person exists outside of your day to day-- they are an abstraction as much as your neighbor down the road. It's another when you have interacted/they become the neighbor next door.
