It was kinda building over time, but Wako one day made a comment about finding deaf characters hot and dethtoll, being deaf, took it as a personal offence and if I remember correctly, basically went to case and made a "either you ban him or I'm leaving" ultimatum. Wako wasn't banned so... Yeah.

I felt really bad for dethtoll in that discussion. That guy had been around for ages and actually contributed. Wako just comes in and makes deliberately inflammatory comments that everyone ignores now because we all know he’s a horrible tick.

It was not a trade up.

SA Btw I know Case had to stick to the rules and couldn't eject Wako because he had only just managed to stay in the lines. But still it was very obvious that Wako was deliberately provoking dethtoll and dethtoll was genuinely upset. It was really horrible.

Eh, dethtoll displayed quite a bit assholish behaviour in his own right every now and again, only he was very self-righteous about it. I usually agreed with him on a lot of things but damn, the guy could be a prick.

AYRT Undoubtedly, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that the same is true of almost all of us. Just most stay or go anon for it. The difference is Wako deliberately aims to provoke and I personally find that behaviour abhorrent.

I always found it puzzling that one or two anons (or maybe more, idk) would just go out of their way to JUMP on anything he said, even if/when he wasn't being provoking. Though I guess the same could be said of any other regular who posted, not intending to provoke. Oh well.

I personally chose to ignore Wako and try not to interact, but he was a completely terrible poster even when he wasn't intentionally trying to provoke, and a huge proportion of his posts merited that kind of reaction

If you're taking about wako, he definitely pissed me off enough that I said something to him, a few times. Can't remember specifics. But I wasn't going out of my way and it wasn't like something I planned.
