Earthshock was a well done serial and, even though I didn’t like Adric as much as I liked Nyssa and Tegan, I wasn’t expecting him to go out like that and it broke my heart.

I’ve always hated how we never really see Five or Nyssa or Tegan really work through their grief on screen. It’s just, “He wouldn’t want us to mourn him, let’s move on”, and it still bothers me all these years later. They could’ve done a little more with that illusion of him that shows up in the next serial, but they didn’t.
