it clearly needs some type of specificity and mutual understanding to linger (she started on that one cop, but never finished and it wore off pretty quickly) and considering that people here right now who do the work of anti-racism still fall into bs, I don't think you could ever rumor racism away that way. she might be able to rumor people into less racism tho.
