I just like sex fics. That's what I want to read. Even when I'm not horny, I just want to read characters fucking all the time. Not even sure why honestly, but PWPs or at least fics that include sex are 75% of what I read these days. 23% is dark fic and only 1% is everything else.

I mean, it isn't only about the sex for me. I think you can learn a lot about characters from how they interact with each other sexually. I actually really love how much characterization you can get from characters in fics that go there. And most often in the things I'm into canon doesn't go there. So it is one way of exploring characterization that canon doesn't have.

What about the other 1%? :P

That would be fluff, longer fics, gen, and anything that isn't smut or darkfic. I just don't read that much other stuff these days.

I just meant because your math didn't add up, 75+23+1=99. Just joking around, though.

This is how I feel about it. If I'm reading fic about a ship, it's because canon didn't give me stuff about that part of the ship, and nine times out of ten "that part" happens to be the sexual side.
