all the ones that have been mentioned so far, as well as people not knowing the difference between "there", "their" and "they're". IT'S NOT THAT HARD!!

In a context where people should be proofreading, I totally agree with you. In a context like, say, posting to F!S, I don't, because I CONSTANTLY make those mistakes, and it has nothing to do with knowing which form is correct for the given circumstance. That's easy. The problem is that I'm a two-finger typist, so I'm constantly looking at the keys as I type and not at the words on the screen. So my fingers get going on auto-pilot, type the wrong "their" or the wrong "it's" and I never notice it because I'm not looking at the screen. And it's F!S so I don't really proofread much, and thus, I end up making stupid typos that I know full well are incorrect, but I just never catch them when I make them.
