Ah, I haven't. I don't have kids, or any close friends or relatives that do (at least not young kids; I have younger cousins but they're teenagers so not really buying toys) so I never have a reason to see kids' toys.

Unfortunately there's not much that can be done about those kinds of things in society at large, at least on individual level. I saw in another comment where you mentioned that she said blue is for boys and she should like pink because she's a girl, and you're right that she obviously got that kind of idea somewhere, and it's pretty messed up. All I can think of is when it comes up again, to say "whoever told you that is wrong, girls and boys can both like any color they want" but I don't know how well that would work for a kid.

I don't know, this is kind of a tough one.
