I find D/s scenes where the Dom bottoms and the sub tops completely unsatisfying. Subbing doesn’t feel like subbing to me if the sub is topping. Ditto the Dom bottoming.

I realize being penetrated is not inherently submissive, and being the one who penetrates is not inherently dominant. But my Id doesn’t see it that way.

I only seem to like it if the sub is totally failing at topping and it ends in a helpless gigglefit, otherwise my id completely agrees with your id, haha.
