I've decided that the Sir Bedevere who died wasn't the famous one. He was his older brother - Pete Bedevere. Later there will be angst, because the older one is dead.

I've had a crush on him since I was in my teens and started reading Arthurian myths!

I have a thing for romantic triangles though, so I'm leaning towards the idea of the classic Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot 'ship for Merlin...

See, I have it all worked out in my head, with Arthur and Gwen and Merlin, as a kind of OT3. I suspect Lancelot would mess that up, rather. >_<
Also I found the version on Merlin slightly annoying.

Even my daughter looks at Merlin and asks where his long white beard is :) LOL!

I still maintain that something happened between Lancelot and Arthur the night of all that drinking and celebrating :)

Really? Not Lancelot and Merlin? Cause... they definitely spent the night in the same room...

Nope. But then I cant really picture Merlin with anyone. Except possibly Nimue. But that, of course, would make sense.....

I ship him with Nimue(h) and Arthur. xD

Nimue is awesome-cakes :) Michelle Ryan was fantastic, and I adored the character.

I'm also kinda shipping Arthur/Morgana which is a little odd....

The writers obviously want you to ship Arthur/Morgana.

And I was so pissed when they killed Nimueh off...

I know - I cave to the pressure, LOL! See, I think my problem is that I dont find Merlin at all attractive, so I tend not to ship him.

I'm shallow, I know.

Arthur, however, I would *so* hit that. If I wasn't nearly 10 years older than him. And married ;)

I'm sort of jumping in on this convo but OMG ME TOO!! I keep thinking of how epically fierce and sexy it'll be when King Arthur, Queen Gwen and Royal Magician Merlin routinely kick ass and "strategize" in the bed chamber...

The way I see it is more Arthur and Gwen are all married, but Arthur's also sleeping with Merlin, but they're all cool with it, and Merlin and Gwen gossip about Arthur when he's not there.
Yeah. But they probably have threesomes sometimes as well...
