Oh, me too. That's why I was curious. I was bummed by turning 36 this year because (as I told my sister) you'd round my age up to 40 now, but she said it was stupid LOL

Honestly, turning 30 wasn't as bad as I was led to believe and my life just got better and better in these previous 5 years, the pandemic aside (which has fucked everything for everyone.) I'm sure 35 is going to be fine! I'm just a little freaked out about how fast this decade of my life is going, but a colleague in a previous job who was a couple of years off 50 warned me this would happen! I've also been stubbornly clinging to "early 30s" to describe myself but guess it has to be 100% mid-30s now. Oh well.

I'm sure you're doing alright too anon. 36 is next for me so I'd hate to think that's anything but just another year! 40 is still a little away for both of us.

Yeah, that's true enough. I do think it's tough trying to keep perspective, but a year IS just a year haha
