Someone I knew through my first fandom died of cancer. Her name was Liz and we never got to meet in person because we lived in different countries.

We met and mainly interacted on a forum, and one day I logged on and the site had deleted all the old threads. I couldn't go back and read my friend's opinions or funny stories anymore.
