After learning that my best friend had passed away (we'd started off as fandom friends), I discovered that she'd deleted all her fanfictions. Her death is obviously the bad part here, but even after several years, I cannot help but wish her words -- and with them her immense talent, generous spirit, and just overall warmth -- would still live on online.
