A repeating moment - kind of my version of Groundhog Day. I'll be well on the way to making a fandom friend, sometimes be good IRL friends with them, then, after beta reading each others' stories multiple times, they'll ask me to do a novel-length story.

Cue ghosting, yelling, and end of friendship. I don't mind if they don't like the comments I've made, which are always in good faith. But at least thank me for my time? Or acknowledge receipt of the comments? I'm disabled and can't expend the energy any more, so I'm no longer beta-reading except for people I absolutely trust.

So tired of this.
