Re: What Was The Single Most Devastating Moment In Fandom For You?

out of all of the devastating moments i've had, the one that affected me personally? happened when i was stepping back into rp after a year long absence.

one of the mods called me out almost immediately because i was subscribed to another user they didn't like. they asked me to justify my relationship with [other user] and why i should be allowed in the group.

i just up and left. deleted everything. it probably made me seems childish, but i didn't know what else to do. it just felt so stupid, and i was so upset over it too. i already have trust issues, and that experience just made me feel worse about it.

Good god, I'm not surprised you upped and left!

Honestly, I don't understand why someone would care about why (or even if) you were suscribed to another user or not/ what business is it of theirs? Your online life and your RL? This sounds like the kid had trust issues. I think I would have left too, or argued then left (probably not even worth voicing the - that's none of your business).

Wow, wtf? Who the hell grills a user for subscribing to someone they don't personally like? I don't think leaving was childish at all. I'd rather be part of an rp where the drama doesn't spill out from the rp story.
