I would take the secret with a grain of salt. I think she's just saying their kids are adorable, and there's nothing wrong with that. She's not saying they're the only adorable kids out there.

You're right, there isn't anything wrong with thinking the kids are adorable. Plus, I shouldn't have been so jumpy. The way the secret is phrased worked against the OP. It's presented as if the OP has an expectation that all Asian babies will be mirrors of the children on the show. A "nice" stereotype perhaps, but a stereotype nonetheless. I don't think it's a good idea to bring a child into your life based on a stereotypical idea of what they will be like.

Again though, I'm being sorta jumpy. I've got to learn to take my salt with my pepper.

I can see where that idea comes from. The secret isn't very specific, but I think that's what makes me not take it very seriously. It sounds like a fleeting thought, if that makes sense?

Everyone finds something adorable now and then, and to me, it's no different than saying "if I had babies with [name celebrity here], they would be beautiful children!" It's not like you would go out and do it (or could do it), but it's a cute/innocent thought to think about for a moment.

in no way was i saying that i have to have kids of a certain race. but it's more of they're adorable and i want to have kids just like that. but like kate said on the show, i like the idea of having the little china doll innocent faced kids.

however, i'm not going to like go out and be like ONLY ASIAN PLS it's more of i just want really cute kids.
