Yeah, dude. Cleveland Public Library: I dunno how many branches, online book reservations, and you tell them which branch to delivery your book(s) to, and then they call you 18-thousand times until you pick up your books. They're so friggin' sweet. :-D We may have a 200-year old water system that explodes a lot, but we've got a good library.

ANYWAY. The four books were just re-released into two volumes: Awakening and Struggle (http://www.amazon.com/Vampire-Diaries-Awakening-Struggle/dp/006114097X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1230253097&sr=8-2), and then Fury and Dark Reunion (http://www.amazon.com/Vampire-Diaries-Fury-Dark-Reunion/dp/0061140988/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1230253097&sr=8-1).

As sad as it sounds, I'm hoping that the new book (http://www.amazon.com/Vampire-Diaries-Return-Nightfall/dp/0061720771/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1230253097&sr=8-3) will ride on the coattails of those books and revitalize some interest in them. (EEEEE! IT'S GOT A COVER NOW! IT DIDN'T THE LAST TIME I CHECKED!!! EEEE!)

Your library sounds pretty hardcore. Our library is rather less enthusiastic, though is building a coffee shop. So perhaps we'll have a little renewed interest in literature in my tiny town. :)

OOH, they are shiny. You know, I think I saw those at Barnes and Noble one time. Yes, indeed. Library, here I come (well, tomorrow, when it re-opens). YAY COVERS.
