Re: What type of character do you most often gravitate towards and why?
I like heroic characters who are willing to sacrifice themselves for others, who are genuinely heroic and hopeful and who care about others.
I'm also drawn towards all sorts of villain characters.
I'm also drawn towards characters who start out as villains and then end up on believable, well-written redemption arcs.
I love mentor characters a lot.
I love flawed heroes who want to do the right thing and end up doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. I also love flawed heroes who go on a journey and grow and change and become better people.
I love leader characters who inspire those around them. And those who help leader characters behind the scenes.
