I... do not understand this secret at all.

I have incest ships, but they're fictional only. Part of the reason I enjoy those pairings is because there's usually mutual angst over the fact that they've fallen in love, and people struggling with their feelings and that's very much my jam.

I am not delusional enough to think that it works like that in REAL LIFE though. What the hell. Incest is usually a case of abuse, either overtly or inherently because of the power dynamics. You think it's beautiful in real life????? No anon. Just no.

Everyone else please don't tar us all with the same brush based on this secret.

Of course IRL incest sucks and somehow I have hard time believing anyone roots for power abuse and such even in incest relationships in case they condone them. In most cases it's abusive, but when it's not? Not our place to judge. Even if it's only one ever being in existence. That's the point. You can judge the hell out of badness, but basically everyone here knows not enough about it and thus the rants feel cheap, when your high moral ground is only that of yours. And who cares about that?
