I just think there are a LOT more queer people out there than realise it, it's just that a good chunk of them never even consider they might be anything but cis and straight.

So I guess people into slash might have a higher chance of actually thinking about it and possibly working it out? I'd say everyone I know who is into slash is queer but, like, practically everyone I know is queer.
