FEMALE SLASH FANS: *consume a bunch of very explicit media about hot dudes boning*

YOU: Ah, they must like girls.

(Anonymous) 2020-10-11 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
Do you think that there are more female slash fans who don't like girls, or female slash fans who do like girls?

Honest question I have no idea what the answer is

they never said "must be into girls", they said lgbt+, which yeah, might involve them being into girls, but also mean not cis. i know a few trans and non-binary slash fans who once identified as cishet girls

Trans and non-binary people are even more rare though. And porn preferences say even less about your gender identity than it does your sexuality.

I'm a lesbian that ships almost exclusively m/m. Where do I fit into your reduction?

(Anonymous) 2020-10-11 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
Dude, they're not excluding you. They're objecting to the OP's ridiculous logic which excludes them.

(Anonymous) 2020-10-11 01:12 pm (UTC)(link)
ayrt

You fit in the "female slash fans" group. With any other interested gay, bi and straight girls.

My comment was not about excluding anyone - I've known several lesbians who read slash, and plenty of bi girls who do; it was addressing OP's fucking stupid idea that somehow *no one* who reads about all-male relationships is solely attracted to men.

Thank you, OP!
I find this secret very odd indeed.
So the slash fans who identify as heterosexual and want to read hot men having sex and that.... makes then secretly LGBTQ???? Huh?
