Sheep can be mean. I mean, don't let the cute fluffiness fool you.

One of my mother's favorite stories is we were at a petting zoo and well, one of the rams took a disliking to tiny me and started chasing me around the petting zoo area. My dad had to run in and rescue me.

I hated big animals after that (I mean, go figure.) It didn't help big dogs also did this to me quite a bit. Mom thought it was funny. No. There was no therapy and a lot of her stories are like this.

Sheep can stay on the other side of the fence with their fluffy curly fuzziness and sharp hooves and they're actually really heavy. (Sheep farm visit when I was in fourth grade or so, LONG after the tiny me petting zoo incident.)
