Re: How to Deal with Trick or Treaters?

(Anonymous) 2020-10-13 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. I wish I was more athletic and had better aim so I could chuck candy at passerby from my porch, but even if I was, it wouldn't solve the problem of trick or treaters usually forming big groups and showing up all at once, which is what usually happens where I am.

I mean, I want to stay safe myself, but I also don't want my front yard to turn into a superspreader event for the neighborhood kids. I also don't want to have mostly kids with parents who treat COVID like nbd showing up at my house.

I love dressing up and handing out candy, and I was so excited to go all out with the decorating because Halloween's on a full moon Saturday--and then COVID happened.
