Inuyasha is mentally around the same age as the Kagome because he's a demon that ages differently and was also suspended in an undeadish state for a long time.

If you're familiar with Avatar: The Last Airbender, calling Inuyasha/Kagome pedophilia or power imbalance because of age is like saying the same of Kataang because Aang is actually 112 years old. The amount of time the person has existed is not their age.
