.......people know who composes music for movies?
I don't even know who directs 99% of the movies I watch.

Weird.

Yes? I pay attention, but that's because I really love movie music. I very often buy movie/tv/game scores and soundtracks as well as trailer music from the composers like Two Steps from Hell that make that kind of music. I'd actually say close to half of the music I own is either movie score music or a song I discovered because it was on a movie soundtrack.

John Williams is definitely my favorite, but I pay attention to quite a lot of score writers. Even for stuff I never actually watched or played.

Most of the music in movies, to me, is too loud and rather intrusive, or just kind of...repetitive. Yes, some is amazing, but most of it I just don't have any real feelings for at all.

A musical, sure, but not the sort of background stuff they play in, say, 'Captain America'.

The only soundtrack i've ever owned and still listen to is the sound track to 'Ravenous', which is some funky stuff.

I like the loud stuff personally. And I loved the music from the first Captain America (and parts of the second). Anything memorable.

I just have super eclectic music tastes honestly. I listen to so many different things. And I tend to wish life in general had a soundtrack. I just love most music and have my ipod with me and headphones in any time I can.

I like music but mostly i just get...I dunno. It bothers me. It either distracts me to the point where I can't concentrate on what I'm doing (which irritates me), or I am into what I'm doing and i tune it out completely, so it's a total waste. I listen sometimes to the radio in my car, but only very quietly; same for a few CDs.

Too much noise - even good noise - puts me on edge, and when I can't hear what's going on around me/outside, it's worse.

So as much as i *like* music, I just don't listen to it often.

Right? So weird and different.

I will literally watch a film just for the score, if I like the composer. So yeah, it's a thing.

I only know him from the Assassin Creed games. Which are some of my favorite game scores.
