While I generally get being upset about the lack of BL because of shitty censorship, this is one of the shows where it's not actually that much of a leap from the original novel. The author like to do super slow burn plot-centered novels for the most part and this novel definitely is very light on the romance and heavy on the plot.
I couldn't finish this show because it was a bit too cringey and I wasn't a fan of the way Tang Fan was portrayed but it is a nice show. It's just not for me and I prefer the novel - mainly for plot and characterisation reasons.

I don't think I've ever watched a holiday horror movie. It seems like a genre I would totally be into though, so this is going on my christmas list~ Does anyone have any other recs?

I wish he wasn't selling that stuff. But yes, there is a big difference between someone who says do that instead of a vet and someone who says go to the vet first and then also do this thing as well. And frankly Jackson has done enough good for cats to balance out this anyway. These things aren't actively harmful for cats, unless they are used instead of veterinary care. They are useless, yes. But they aren't harmful. Some of the stuff out there is. Not the stuff he sells, though.

I love seeing graffiti in media!

I get so excited trying to figure if scenes with graffiti are filmed on set or in a real place.

I live near a number of commonly used filming locations, and I sometimes fantasize about leaving a tag in one of those locations and seeing it appear on my favourite media.
