I've been reading translations of the novel and yeah, they went a different way with Tang Fan.

That being said, for me, I love complete brat Tang Fan. But that's just because I love the way Sui Zhou and Wang Zhi react to it.

I totally get that. Personally, I'm overly sensitive when it comes to cringey moments and the more bratty version of Tang Fan in the series certainly hits those cringenotes for me more than I like, but that's a matter of taste and mainly my personal issue.

Jup, watching those two react to Tang Fan was a complete joy and I wouldn't change it for the world. (I didn't like him for the first... Idk 6 episodes or so, but he got better with time and in the end I genuinely liked him)

Also arranging one's own wedding AND funeral to get out of work? We must stan a little bit.
