I love shippy content featuring Aladdin - he's a great bicycle who works well with a bunch of characters both inside and outside the canon universe. Been into Aladdin/Hercules and Aladdin/Sora for over a decade. Good stuff, good stuff. Besides, whatever makes you happy is worth it, OP. Life is way too short not to enjoy it to the fullest.

OP, that's wonderful. It's totally okay to spend money on yourself, esp. on something you might usually not -- to treat yourself. Treat yourself kindly, OP. This is one of those things. Some people go to nice restaurants, others buy a new outfit or whatever fits their favorite pastime, why is this any different?

If I had money to spend that way, I'd probably commission someone to write the exact fic I want. Complete with self insert OC/MC pairing. All the works. And to be clear, even if you feel like it was a splurge, if you've been feeling down, I would consider this as part of self care. Some folks go for a walk. Others watch movies. Ya know
