If by Mary Sue community you mean a community that labels/makes fun of mary sues... then I'm not surprised considering some of the sexist connotations of the concept.

Why do you think authors who write cringey idealised self inserts that all the male characters have the hots for wouldn't have sexist conservative ideals?

Except back when mocking Mary Sues was popular, most Sue writers hated and bashed the canon female characters and wrote them OOC to show what a perfect, exceptional girl the Sue was, how she's not like those annoying slutty bitches with FLAWS.
