I finished my yearly rewatch of Over the Garden Wall as well as watched Curse of the Cat People and Beetlejuice.

I was thinking of looking up the musical soundtracks of either the Beetlejuice musical or the one for Young Frankenstein to listen to while I sort out some e-mails.

I can't. I just can't. I'm scared to go to sleep because I had 4 awful nightmares last night and then when I tried to nap this afternoon I had another awful nightmare. I can't handle another one. I know not sleeping isn't good for me, and I'm way behind on sleep and exhausted. But I just can't do it.

I'm curious what people think about it.

Personally I'm actually kinda mad about the reaction it got. People are accusing it of being insensitive left and right, and it's really coming off as some mass target people can shame to feel better about themselves. Like, I just if it was just a gallows and located in the American South I could kinda see where people are coming from, but it's very obviously a spooky creepy Halloween display, nothing more nothing less. I'm just waiting for the accusations of insensitivity towards ancient French aristocrats to pop up because he has a guillotine...
