Trash party fic is just...so gross (to me). It's primarily rape/non-con/abuse, and since it started in the Captain America/Avengers fandom, it's mainly Bucky being abused in the most revolting and over the top ways you can imagine. Of course, brainwashing and whatnot is a big part of it. I loathe it.

Just read through the fanlore page. I did not realize that's what the HTP meant. :|

I thought it was just people who liked Steve Rogers as Hydra Steve Rogers./enjoyed keeping Winter Soldier as a Hydra puppet. Did not realize the rabbit hole went so deep.
