I'll start, because I have one. I purchased something from a local seller recently - mind you, she's been paid. She was paid at the time that I ordered it and she was supposed to get back to me to arrange a time and place for a pick up. She took a day to do this, which was fine by me. I haven't gotten back to her yet because I'm waiting to find out my schedule for this week.

She e-mails me today saying she contacted me a couple days ago and "please respond". Bitch, it's been ONE DAY. You e-mailed me YESTERDAY and you yourself took ONE DAY to get in touch so you owe me at least that much. Also, YOU'VE BEEN PAID. It's nice you're concerned about completing the transaction, but fucking cool your jets. The item I bought isn't perishable, it doesn't expire.

I won't be buying from her again.

My cats are so good at spreading kitty litter everywhere that I found a piece in my room, which is at the opposite end of the house. I really wish I could work out why they keep kicking all the litter out of their trays. I clean them daily! What is the problem here?

My girl does this too. I think she actually sometimes just plays with the litter. She also makes a huge mess with her food.

Oh, and my girl cat complains if I don't pat her while she eats. It's terrible because she actually has a really cute meow, so I feel like a monster for ignoring her.

Mine will sit in the box and dig and dig and dig until it's spilling over the side. I have three litter boxes sitting in a huge cardboard 'tray' that was a box I got from the grocery store. It keeps the litter (mostly) in place, and once a week I take the boxes out of it and tip it up and dump the kicked-out stuff into the trash.

Hmm. I'll keep an eye out for appropriate trays, maybe. Worth a shot at any rate! Thanks!

I was a little annoyed that it turned out the nail salon that I went to didn't allow tips on credit cards. Which meant I ended up having to split the bill in order to put part of it on my debit card. I can get why they'd have that policy, but it was still annoying. What do they do if people don't have anything but a credit card?

that is kind of awkward, I know people who use their credit card for everything.

That would be me. I do have a debit card, but I rarely use it except for banking, and I almost never use cash and don't carry it on me generally.

Personally I always put the service charge on my cc and give the tip in cash to the technician who did my nails (some salons get screwy with technician's tips).

That happened to me last month when I (finally) went to get my hair cut. Get up to the register and I get my receipt and I'm like, "....there's no line for a tip??" and the stylist is like, "we don't do that with credit cards," and I'm like, "wtf?" except politely and she asks if I have venmo and I'm like, "uhm...no?"

I liked how she did my hair so I did a follow up appointment to get it dyed and made sure to tip extra (with cash) when I went back but yeah. Awkward.

That does sound annoying. I once had an argument with a guy who messaged me about a... hmm, not-quite-argument? That happened at his place three or four days before he messaged me. I read his message, got really pissed off at the tone and such, and took a day or two to think about how I wanted to reply. I *was* thinking about apologising, but then he messaged me to tell me I needed to get back to him with an apology or whatever, and I was just like "Well go fuck yourself, then"
And we haven't spoken since!

My period started and it's gross :/
Worse yet, when it started I was wearing a) my only pair of white undies and b) my only pair of white trousers. No damage to the latter, but it was a near thing. I hate people talking about being 'surprised' by their period when 'oh it's the same time every month lol', because mine's never been regular in twenty years, even on BC.

Ugh, I'm so sorry, anon. My period's never been regular either, so I get your frustration regarding that.

Different anon sympathizing. I try to track but it's kind of pointless when like, I was fairly consistent for like 6 months, then had one start on July 11. ...Next one started on October 11. And the next one started on October 30. I'm afraid to put the nice sheets on the bed anymore. :P

jfc that's annoying, yeah. at least when I can't get back to clients right away, if I've created a timeline emergency by my failures I suck it up and deal, I don't make it their problem. so even if she's like "I need an answer because I have to schedule my somethings in a convenient order and manner" well, that's her problem, not yours.

anyway my petty annoyance today is some trans TMI so consider that a warning...

gettin frustrated that the T is working great in all the areas other humans beings will never see, or only see if I'm cosplaying. I really don't need a furry belly and once I can bare all for cosplay, I'll need to shave it in order to not look like a gross yeti. meanwhile my facial hair is hilariously sparse like a 15 year old. thanks body thanks so much.

I was working in SK and my sister was likewise working in SK for a while. Before I left, I applied for my pension refund in the gu office and got it like 3 months after I came home. Because we left at the height of corona in SK, my sister didn't want to risk going to a public office to apply for hers (and since she lived in Suwon and I lived in Seoul, it was easier for me to go to the gu office than it would've been for her). Well, now we're trying to figure out how the fuck to get her pension refunded and it's a HUGE headache because we need to get the application notarized and apostilled OR take the application to the SK embassy 6 hours away from our house. I'm not clear on how to get these things damn apostilled (I think maybe the US dept of state) and it's idk a pain, a huge pain. I was on hold four or five times today to speak to separate people about it and, big surprise, they all give wildly different answers on what you need and how you need to do it. Sucks.

That's so rude of her. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so annoying when people behave with huge double standards.

She actually seems like she's being responsible here, so I'm not sure why you're so pissed about this. Her being paid just kinda emphasizes her need for your response, a simple 'I need to check my schedule before I can confirm' would solve a lot more than bitching about it on here. She's probably has several orders she's juggling, and doesn't want anyone accusing her of stealing your payment.

Pestering someone for a reply when it's barely been 24 hours since you emailed them AND you yourself took more than 24 hours to get in touch isn't responsible, it's borderline neurotic. Trying to claim that it's been two days when it's only been one day - and this is clear by the time stamp on the email) isn't responsible, either.

"Anyone" accusing her of stealing? Who'd know about this transaction except me? Look, it's fine to be anxious, but there's no need to try and BS me about how long it's been. If she's having trouble juggling orders, that's not my problem.

I read an interesting twitter thread from someone explaining why the police really aren't that helpful - he got into an accident when the driver behind him was run into from behind with such force that they hit him in turn. The driver in the middle was a black woman, the driver who hit her was a frothingly angry white guy. OP got insurance info from black woman, they tried to get info from white guy, he screamed abuse & threats. They retreated and agreed to call the cops (OP asked for black woman's okay). Cops showed up a full hour later (after OP specified to dispatch that shouty white man was very threatening and also they were stuck in the middle of a busy road), immediately accused black woman of causing accident, OP defended her, eventually got cops to wring necessary info from shouty white man (who also screamed threats and abuse at the cops, natch), is eventually able to go on his way.

Just a little anecdote that illustrates simply that even when speed is called for, the cops are slow, and even when fault is made clear from whose car has crashed into whose, they'll go for the nearest minority, et cetera. Straightforward enough, right? And yet for some reason, there was one person in the responses who basically went, "You're a white guy, who cares". I'm summarising - they went on for a bit longer than that, but that was the general drift.
Now, firstly, I hate Oppression Olympics bullshit. 'You Must Be This Victimised To Be Valid' is an absolutely garbage way of approaching anything, but especially discussion of social issues that affect every person in the society in question.
Secondly... OP was a trans man. If someone thinks trans men are somehow immune from oppression and not, say, afraid of being randomly murdered by cops... I would like to know what that someone is drinking, so I can avoid it.

I'm hoping it was a troll, because it takes a special kind of stupid to shit on a potential ally.

...Oh, I forgot to say: the person insulting OP was a white woman. So yeah, that was just... 'infuriating' might be the mildest term I can think of.

Mine recently: I joined this group on Facebook for pets of a specific species. All along I've been mildly irritated that there are certain people who post who are like the equivalent of BNFs, but after a couple years of watching this group, it's gotten worse to the point that every time someone posts a pet with a certain coloring, a bunch of people go "HEY THAT LOOKS LIKE [BNF's pet's name]!" And I'm like... uh... there are so many pets who have that same coloring (the pets in question have pretty common coloring, so this happens CONSTANTLY), and they are all adorable. But I don't say anything because it'd come off like jealousy or something probably. I just find it annoying because all of these animals are adorable in their own right and each one of them deserves recognition without more attention being drawn to one of the BNF pets instead.

And then in like the last week it got worse because some injoke on one of the BNF's personal pages got dragged over to the group, so people keep posting pictures/references about this dumb injoke which have nothing to do with the actual animals we are all there to enjoy. I know, I know, keep scrolling, but it's taken over the group and I just want to see the cute animals. EVERYONE'S cute animals.

The script/dialogue for Disgaea 4 is fairly annoying but at least it's more creative than D5's and less grating than D2 and D3. It's weird being a Disgaea fan that doesn't enjoy the plot or characterization of the franchise but the gameplay is just so wonderfully addictive. Pfft.
