I loved the original, haven't seen the remake, but I usually avoid remakes.

A couple of scrolling icons I've seen that I don't have but I find really funny are the one with Elmo and Grover having a really messy breakup and the phone conversation between Bjork and P.Diddy one.

When they are a second adaption of a book, I don't think they count as a remake. They are doing a different take on the same book, not remaking the other movie.
