Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing this weekend?

We are still suffering through only having a mini fridge. A soda burst in it today and it looked like a murder scene! This weekend I am hopefully doing nothing except dealing with the electrician when he comes since it will be cold and dreary.

Going to try to work on my fic for the Tolkien Secret Santa NSFW advent calendar. Fic is due on November 26, but I don't know what my schedule will be later in the month, so better to get it done now. Also have another, more cracky but also NSFW fic I'm working on.

Going to spend lots of time with my kitty. Probably listen to some music. Take a bath or two because my back and legs are kind of sore. And sleep a bunch.

Hope you enjoy your weekend and the cold isn't too bad.

Oh, also will spend a bunch of time on Flightrising because a new breed came out today, and I'm obsessed with it.

I'm sorry about your mini murder fridge, I'm picturing a smurf suicide bomber.

I work tomorrow. Maybe I'll go to Costco on my break, but aside from that I expect to field a lot of calls asking if we're open (we are) because our county just went into a stricter shutdown.

I got some laundry and grocery shopping done today, so on Sunday I will probably do some house cleaning and gardening.

I planted winter veggie seeds (carrots, leeks, celery, broccoli, kale, lettuce, and peas) this week and am anxiously checking every day to see if anything's sprouted yet, heh. I want to get more flower bulbs in the ground. And I've been spending too much money on stuff, but I might buy some bare root roses.

I'm trying not to freak out too much about the stupidest attempted coup ever, and have been anxiety-shopping for plants and seeds. At least it gives me a constructive hobby to work on.

it'smy first 3 day weekend (i usually have mondays off work) in what feels like ages.
Going to pick up meat at the locql farm, cook something with it. Also some deep cleaning stuff that got neglected and then glorious *nothing* on Sunday, except Fun Hobby Stuff: Manga, Cross-stitch, napping, playing with my kitties.

I watched 'Over The Moon' the other night with my family. It was okay, but kind of kitchy, I guess? Quite predictable. Really nice animation though.

The Addams Family. Put it on for Halloween as a kid friendly, creepy movie. Still as fun as I remember it.

There's an old LiveJournal comm LJSecrets (https://ljsecret.livejournal.com/) which has been around for I don't even know how long. it's specifically for the purpose of posting anonymous confessions or other secrets that you want to get off your chest without putting them into a space where someone could figure out it's you. It's not super active anymore like it used to be but people are still there anon posting away. If anyone wants a space to regularly make non-fandom confession or secret posts, check it out.
