I had mixed feelings about Matt at the start of the series, but I think he's grown on me now that it's nearly over.

Paul and Pru on the other hand - I never liked them before, but there's something about this series that's made me hate them more (or maybe I'm still not over that weird whole lemon pudding technical challenge).

I ship Destiel but stopped watching years ago. I just feel bad for them after reading what happened this episode. Seemed like a shitty (mostly) finale all around.

I watched this with my husband on our work from home lunch breaks at the height of lockdown and ok, it wasn't anything special historically (we're both already aware of a lot of the history already) but it was alright for a dramatic retelling. However, our main takeaway was the actors were just so bad. I guess you have to be kinda ridiculously campy in that sort of show but I doubt anyone else is gonna be threatened by any of those actors any time soon!
