People are fighty tonight on FS.

I'm feeling extremely lonely tonight for some reason. It's been seven months without social interaction and i've been doing okay, but tonight i'm just really fecking lonely.

Making some alfredo pasta now. I think the electrician has flaked out on us AGAIN so we are going to get a different one.

Not sure. On one hand, guess I'm grateful that I'm not doing worse, and yes it could be a lot worse, but on the other, man...

Eh, fine. I went to the farmers' market (masked and outside) and bought bread so that was nice, now I'm kinda tired and just hanging out. Gonna try to get a bit of work done later maybe as well.

Chronic illness symptoms flaring since I woke up. I just gave up on trying to sleep after about 4 hours lying uncomfortably in bed (and missing most of Pokemon Go's community day, sigh) and now instead of having a caffeine withdrawal headache and being unable to do anything about it because of nausea, I'm having hypoglycemic symptoms and unable to do anything about it because of nausea. I am really, really tired of nausea.

Trying to sleep but my acid reflux bs wont let me. Need to try something other than Samarin, me thinks.

On my period, sitting around and moping, and beating myself up for sitting around and moping instead of being productive. I have to work all this week, so there's stuff I need to get done but I just don't wanna.

Also I have mice in my oven, which I discovered when I opened the oven door for the first time in a couple weeks and found the bottom full of fluffy bits of insulation. I pulled them all out, and the oven still works, but now of course it will not stay at a set temp for long without the gas kicking back on. Oh well, at least the heat diffusing into the kitchen will help the house warm up. I only used the stove burners and microwave for months while it was hot out.

But there is so much else that needs fixing. My roof, electrical wiring, plumbing stuff... but I can't afford to move. If I sell this place, the property taxes on any place I buy will be more than I make in a year.

Feeling trapped and poor and miserable, even though I don't have COVID and still have a house, no matter how decrepit, and a job. I need to start exercising again but even cleaning feels like too much effort.

Hopefully this is my usual period blargh fest and will be followed by the usual burst of focused productivity in a few days. Tempted to chase the high of retail therapy, but I should be saving money for a new stove. I just paid property taxes and was already feeling poor, even though I have more money in the bank than this time last year.

Also at least Biden won and I should (probably) stop worrying about the stupidest attempted coup in history.

Scared. I'm going to work tmr for the first time in 8 months. I can't relax thinking about it. It would probably be different if I'd managed a really good job but it's a telemarketing gig. I'm grateful for the job but terrified it'll be as bad as everyone says tmr.

Good today. 12 years with my husband today (not our wedding anniversary, that's in July) and because it's a pandemic and our city is in measures that mean restaurants have to close by 6pm, we just had a takeaway tonight. Our wedding anniversary kinda trumps this one now anyway, but in normal years we just find it a nice excuse to do something nice on a dark November day.

Another bonus relating to the fact that I unfortunately had a pretty stubborn UTI last week and I'm still taking antibiotics: they actually seem to be working and I'm much better! I so very rarely get them and I hate this shit.

I got only about 2-3 hours of sleep last night, and woke up with a nasty headache. Just took a nap, but I don't feel a whole lot better.

I'm playing music on youtube. I ordered Panera potato soup from Doordash for dinner.

I've got a short cut and this employee called over to me "Hey butch" She was friendly enough after that but strange.
