It's really interesting seeing their early designs though. You can see a bunch of information in the comments where folks are discussing how Vaggie and Angel were supposed to be a couple at first before Vivzie scrapped that idea for Vaggie x Charlie. If you want my casual conspiracy theory though I half-seriously think it was mainly because she wanted to make Angel Dust fully gay since she knows fandom eats that shit up (and wouldn't be as on board with Angel if he were dating a ~girl~, oh no the cooties) , and predictably everyone fell in love with uwu ghey spider boiiii lol.
