Watching Zumbo's Just Desserts convinced me that Australian desserts are both

I find the first seasons of Chopped too infuriating to watch...the judges were so sexist! Anytime a female contestant defended herself she was smacked down but they applauded male contestants for the same thing.

I don't find plots that revolve around financial insecurity entertaining or even bearable. I had to skip several episodes from Bob's Burgers because of this discomfort.

The one opinion of their own work that I wish canon creators wouldn't share publicly is who their favorite character is. As soon as they do, it makes me view everything that happens around that character as an action of favoritism by the creator. Something good happens to the character? They're being rewarded because they're the writer's favorite! Something bad happens to them? The writer wants us to pity them so we'll like them more because they're the favorite! The character makes a mistake? I bet the writer doesn't think the mistake was that bad, after all, their favorite character did it! I know it's stupid to think that, but I can't help it.

03 - I agree with your assessment of ABO. It's dumb and gross AND sexist.

04 - Maybe it's because I grew up with the show, but I disagree (though Natalie having a romantic interest every episode gets really annoying). I find a lot of comfort in Monk's character.
