I don't like to speculate on the sexualities of real life people. It just feels rude and invasive to me. And since we can't see their private life, there really is no way for us to know. Maybe someone is in the closet, maybe they aren't, it really isn't any of our business either way. This is a real person, so let them live their life.

I did not know this existed until now. I'm intrigued. I liked the Before Green Gables prequel by Budge Wilson. So I think there is a chance I might like this too. Going to put it in my Amazon cart in case I get gift cards for Christmas.

YES, YES, YES.
Honestly, I don't even bother with BL manga anymore, even though my shelves are still full of "older" ones. Between the """interracial""" couple trend - where one guy is tanned and they get culturally appropriative - and Killing Stalking-like series, other than omegaverse ... This was the year I gave up. Luckily, I discovered the marvelous world of June novel scanlations. Really sad that they went bankrupt, because those were pretty good. And I didn't consider myself to be a book-loving person...

Yes, it's a very silly show that doesn't hold up well at all, which is a shame because Tony Shalhoub is such a fun actor to watch and it has such intense early-00s vibes. It also feels really bad that - as far as I'm aware - they replaced Sharona mostly because they just didn't want to pay the actress. Just bad vibes.

I'll still rewatch some of the Sharona episodes sometimes but the show as a whole, just... really not great. Not great representation either.
