Ugh. Regina was the fucking worst. Along with everyone else, really.

Comment OP and AYRT--see, I wanted to like Regina. I love a good villain redemption. But even though I didn't care about Graham as a character, she raped and murdered him and not only faced zero consequences, no one ever even found out what she'd done. And obviously everyone who forgave Regina forgave her for some fucking awful shit, but I feel like the dynamic would've been different if they'd known she'd kept and killed a sex slave.

Like, for her redemption to really stick and make sense to me, everyone (including her) should've had to understand that her evil witch murder spree wasn't confined to the magical kingdom, she was still magic raping a guy she murdered (and keeping people imprisoned in a fake mental ward) while she was mayor.

I would have moments when I liked Regina, but they felt like bandaids over her actions that no one even knew she should've been asking for forgiveness for.

I was obsessed with her back when I was into the show. And I loved her redemption arc. But when I actually sat back and was honest with myself, I realized that really I was just really attracted to her (and also had a massive dislike for Emma's actress that made me automatically side against her). Therefore I wanted to buy into the idea of her redemption arc. And truthfully I was more into the idea of the show in general than in its actual execution.

As a villain she's still hot. But I don't watch the show anymore. I hope the actress plays a villain again in something else someday.

Regina's actress, along with Rumple's, were the best performers in the show. She brought a lot to the character and show.
