Be sick (chronic illness not Covid), wrap the last of the presents, and watch Christmas Horror movies. Anna and the Apocalypse while I eat dinner then Silent Night Deadly Night, finishing with OG Black Christmas.

Probably to stay the fuck home, eat leftovers and resist the temptation to do a liquor run. Hopefully I can get in some exercise and gaming. Or clean the place and hope the gods don't hate my guts so much that they drop a random bug when it's going to be 25 degrees over the next few days (it's 70 and raining right now). Tonight, hoping to watch a stream.

Feeling lonely and cold in my room because my parents decided to invite all our damn relatives again even though we’re not supposed to have a bunch of people over. And our house is small, so we can’t exactly social distance. It’s like Thanksgiving all over again.

Well, I got my Secret Santa fic done, and the person really loved it. So that's good.

Tonight we're doing breakfast for dinner. Waffles with strawberries, sausage, bacon, and fried eggs. Parents will do wine with theirs, but I can't do alcohol b/c it is a migraine trigger. Instead, I'm going to make my own soda by mixing soda water with one of the water mix-ins I've been using.

After dinner going to take a hot bath for a while.

And my parents just gave me my new ipod. They actually got me a brand new one, too, not a refurbished one, and the 128 gig one. Super excited. Going to start putting music on it.

We won't do Christmas stuff until late tomorrow afternoon because that's when my sister and brother-in-law arrive. So I can sleep in, which means I can stay up a little later adding music.

Just a quiet night in with my mom, watching Christmas-themed shows and exchanging gifts tomorrow and whatnot :). And since we're not going anywhere or inviting anyone over, we decided to forgo some of the traditional Christmas food and made some homemade tacos for dinner tonight :D. We do have some stuffing and crescent rolls and pie and whatnot, too, though, so we'll probably have that tomorrow.

It's Christmas Day here. I've just opened the last of my presents, which made me smile (dinosaurs!) and soon I'll go and fetch my mother who lives nearby. We'll have a microwave Christmas dinner because neither of us is up to cooking. She'll bring the puddings and I've bought handmade chocolate for afterwards. Then a nanna-nap, and we might watch a Jane Austen before I take her home again.

I'm not visiting anyone thanks to covid and this will be the first Christmas I've spend alone. I had originally planned to go hiking today, but then found out Tuesday that it was going to be really cold today but warm on Wednesday, so I went hiking Wednesday. I took a walk this morning and then did a bunch of cleaning and I'm going to do some cooking before bed. My plans for Christmas day are another walk, cook good food, watch an old MST3K episode or two, and see if my parents want to do a zoom call.

Just did my church's virtual candlelight service, so the holiday is basically over for me. Just fed the pets, nothing else on the agenda tonight or until my workplace opens back up in January. Will probably lie around in bed intermittently catching pokemon that spawn near me while trying to figure out how to end this fic. Because where it ended in my head was "okay", but I feel like it needs an epilogue.

I'm going to my parents' tomorrow but it's just the three of us, we're going to facetime/zoom/whatever my brother and his gf and his daughter and her bf on Boxing Day because they all have massive families and my dad and I are high risk (dad has COPD and I'm immunocompromised).

So tomorrow will likely be a lot of snacking, chilling, book reading, and booze, lol.

Make waffles for breakfast, unwrap presents, nap (so sleep deprived ugh) wrap relatives' presents, wave at relatives through their car windows as I load presents into their trunk, then either clean house or go back to bed.

Oh, and try to convince my out of town relatives not to drive down to visit on Sunday because we're down to 30 ICU beds for the entire county wtf stay home.

I had to work today and have to work Saturday. So tired.

Cooking a slow pork roast overnight. Spending the evening working on a small painting while listening to Wizardry soundtracks and guess I'll be playing Santa tomorrow morning, handing out little presents to coworkers.

I just saw some discourse on Lobo. I never got into Lobo, never cared for him as a character.

But more than that, I just don't know /why/ he exists. What niche does he fulfil? What story would you need to tell where someone like Lobo would have to be created? I don't get it.

Do you prefer a different platform (say dreamwidth?)? Also, how active is it? Would I be better off finding a discord comm if I'm looking for constant activity?
