Eh, speaking as an asexual, there are a lot of reasons to have sexual experiences with people that don't involve being sexually attracted to them? And there's nothing wrong with interpreting Cas as having explored his sexuality only to settle on IDing more as gay (or as anything else)-- sexuality is fluid and a lot of real people have experiences that are real and meaningful, but don't align with the label they eventually feel fits them best. It doesn't mean you didn't feel anything for your past partners, or that you were misguided in having those relationships/experiences! It just means figuring yourself out when you're any flavor of queer is a journey for anyone, be they human or fictional billions-of-years-old-celestial-entity-the-size-of-the-Chrysler-building.

I understand being pissed off by the misogyny and biphobia in general, both wrt SPN and just life, but I do think that there are a lot of valid ways of interpreting Cas without erasing his history, and my feelings about that are informed by my own journey with figuring out what label fits me, and the people of various genders I wanted to be close to along the way.
